Canada Must Act Against Sharia Law Now
L
ook around you…at Canada the land of freedom, equality and opportunity to which people flock from other nations. A land of freedoms: religious freedom, freedom to associate, freedom of the press. A land of equality: between men and women, between all religious groups, between immigrant and native-born. A land of opportunity: for any who wish to work to build a better life for themselves—opportunities possible because of our freedoms and equality.
Consider the future for our children and grandchildren if we do not wake up and defend ourselves against Jihad via al Hijra (conquest via Islamic immigration). Do you: see a Canada where women’s heads must be covered by a hijab; a Canada in which women keep their eyes lowered, if their eyes can be seen at all; a Canada in which women are called foul names, assaulted and raped because they are “Dhimmi” (non Muslim); a Canada in which equality is a memory from the past? This is already starting to unfold in Europe.
Canada has a skyrocketing national debt. But rather than deal with the source causes, our parliamentarians, from our Prime Minister on down, have Canadians believing that immigration is one of the major solutions to our economic and demographic woes. The tragedy is, neither is true and we will end up paying the high price for Ottawa’s greed today.
What is true is that deficit spending and massive (uncontrolled) immigration are self-serving. It’s a cop-out! It’s saying without saying it, “We don’t want to address the real problem because it’s extremely unpopular.” As I put it in last week’s Communiqué:
“Multiculturalism [immigration] has been widely accepted by Canadians and, overall, is seen as a good thing, but this is mainly because Canadians have been kept uninformed. The responsibility for this can be shared by all parties in parliament, each with their own self-serving political interest that outweighed the need to inform and protect Canadians.”
So they know that owning up to the debt and especially the immigration crises would be very unpopular for them as MPs at the polls.
However, if the current trend in Ottawa isn’t exposed for what it really is—self-serving to gain power—and reversed ASAP, in twenty years the Canada left behind will not be so fortunate. We will see what we’ve only had a taste of in the slumbering western world—7th century barbarisms such as beheadings, “honour” killings, and women assaulted for not accepting their subordinate position—a Canada that most people today cannot even envision!
Even if our immigration system wasn’t totally broken (which it is, and dangerously so), it’s ridiculous for Ottawa to lead Canadians to believe that massive immigration will fix our declining population. As the C.D. Howe Institute informs us, immigration cannot stop the train. Besides, our current uncontrolled and broken immigration system is silently welcomed by Islamic extremists whose mandate of Jihad via al Hijra is not overtly spoken of, but actively engaged in.
What all parties in parliament should be honestly and vigorously debating is the very real Islamic multiculturalism crises that European leaders have only recently admitted to. Why is Ottawa so quiet?? Maybe they are so naïve they believe the problem will just go away.
CHP Canada wants Canadians to be aware of this very real concern and to inform our parliamentarians that the problem will not go away. CHP Canada is calling for a moratorium on immigration from countries governed by Sharia law. We invite everyone to become completely informed on this matter: see our CHP Media release here and here, as well as our full immigration policy here.
The Christian Heritage Party of Canada recognizes the upmost importance during these trying times of maintaining the Canadian Judeo-Christian roots that have guaranteed us the liberties we have enjoyed since confederation.
Conservatives, Liberals, NDP and Bloq. You’ve crippled our country with your ineptitude long enough.
It’s time for solutions that will lead Canada to a safe secure future. It’s time for CHP Canada.
New Federal Council cabinet
The Federal Council by-election has concluded, and we’ve completed the inaugural meeting. I’d like to congratulate our new Directors-at-Large, Shawn Vulliez and former Clerk Shawn Gray.
With a new Council comes a new set of responsibilities. I’ve rearranged the Directors’ portfolios to streamline our operations and better play to their strengths. Therefore, I’m pleased to introduce the new cabinet:
• Stephane Bakhos, Chief Agent & IT Admin
• Mike Bleskie, International & Interpartisan Relations
• Shawn Gray, Volunteer & Local Event Coordinator
• Shawn Vulliez, Public Relations
This election also saw the roll-out of our new voting system, using uniquely-issued keys to provide both accountability and anonymity to our voters. We’ve received a great deal of positive feedback so far, and we’ll be looking at ways to further improve the system in the future.
I’m looking forward to serving with our new Directors, and am pleased that our complete Council is now able to react more quickly and to a broader variety of events than was possible in the past.
Thanks to all of our candidates, and to the 176 members who voted.

Multiculturalism—The BIG Mistake
Norway – Siv Jensen, leader of the Progress Party stated: “Norway is reeling under immigration from Muslims…we need to be better at integrating immigrants.”
Holland – Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom said: “60% of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the #1 policy mistake since World War II.”
Germany – Angela Merkel, Chancellor, said: “This [multicultural] approach has failed, utterly failed.” She also said that immigrants must do more to integrate into German society.
England – Prime Minister Cameron (just last week!) said: “Multiculturalism has failed…” His remarks sparked a chorus of condemnation from the Muslim Council of Britain.
France - President Nicolas Sarkozy (only days ago) said of multiculturalism, “It’s a failure…The truth is that, in all our democracies, we’ve been too concerned about the identity of the new arrivals and not enough about the identity of the country receiving them.”
So now, what about Canada??
Canada – Prime Minister Harper stated: “Our economy will need even more immigrants…we have the most generous system…for refugees in the world.”
Yes, Mr. Prime Minister, and experts recently revealed that 60% of the asylum seekers (claiming refugee status) are bogus and costing Canadian tax payers between two and three billion dollars every year. How generous we are indeed! Our Canadian parliamentarians really need to wake up to what is happening.
Multiculturalism has been widely accepted by Canadians and, overall, is seen as a good thing, but this is mainly because Canadians have been kept uninformed. The responsibility for this can be shared by all parties in parliament, each with their own self-serving political interest that outweighed the need to inform and protect Canadians.
Since CHP Canada’s national media release last week informing Canadians of the threat of Islamization to our nation and spearheading a decisive action calling for a moratorium on immigration from countries with Sharia-based law, the responses have been very telling that acceptance to multiculturalism certainly has shifted.
To list only a few:
“This issue…is by far the most direct and honest I’ve read in a long time.” –MV
“I firmly support this stand – it’s about time a Canadian Political Leader and their party stand up and confronts this head on.” –MV
“Thank you once again for your clear analysis of issues facing our country of Canada. It certainly helps me be more alert to issues we need to face instead of thinking that it has nothing to do with me.” –DD
“Thank you so much for the good info. I am now teaching a Sunday School class series on the Koran. Enlightening AND frightening!!” –EY
“I fully agree. Canadians MUST take a firm stand NOW while we are in the majority. Once radical Muslims pass a critical mass, their violent lifestyle will overwhelm most Canadians.” –MT
Besides the immediate moratorium, CHP Canada would ensure that: all immigrants possessed skills or assets needed in Canada; all immigrants and refugees were properly screened (currently only about 10% of immigrants to Canada are properly screened) and; the 250,000 immigrants who enter Canada every year get a security check! We would increase the use of detention or deportation for fraud and dangerous applicants.
CHP Canada would show compassion for true refugees – cracking down on the bogus claims would open the doors to those truly in danger.

Ontario’s Illegal Coyote Killing Contests
It’s bad enough that coyotes can be killed year-round in Ontario, leaving newborn pups to die, but if these barbaric contests are not stopped, it will add another whole dimension to this barbaric ‘sport’. One where people and their pets will be afraid to venture into natural areas this summer.
For convenience, you can simply choose to use some of the points listed in the following link in your email to McGuinty, with a copy to your MPP and, if you live in the Ottawa area, your City Councillor. Please bcc
webmaster@wildlifeontario.ca as well. Please do not forward the ‘Take Action’ page to politicians, however, as it will not count as personal comment. http://wildlifeontario.ca/content/action/actionalert/Stop-Coyote-Killing-Contests/index.htmlTogether, we can make a difference for these animals. Please forward this to your friends and family as well. To have the greatest impact, Dalton McGuinty needs to receive a large number of letters over the next few days, so even if you’ve written before, do so again.

Usage-based billing press release
The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) recently approved a request by Bell to pass their own bandwidth caps and overage fees on to independent ISPs at a 15% discount. The Pirate Party of Canada objects to this ruling on three grounds, all of which boil down to competition.
The CRTC’s current purpose is to maintain the present oligopoly in Canada’s telecom industry. In so doing, it has a responsibility to provide protection for consumers against the abuse inherent in such a system. Instead, by repeatedly ruling in favour of major corporations’ attempts to dominate the market, the CRTC has cheated Canadian consumers and is responsible for the widening technological and financial gap between the telecom industry in Canada and that in much of the rest of the First World.
By allowing Bell to impose its own pricing structure on other ISPs, the CRTC has made usage-based billing the de facto standard. With wholesale pricing all but eliminated, other ISPs will be forced to match Bell’s price points and billing practices. Canadian consumers will no longer have the option of switching to another ISP with better prices, because all ISPs will be forced into the same system.
Finally, by placing a ridiculously high price on inexpensive bandwidth, Bell’s usage-based billing scheme will stifle online competition as new bandwidth-heavy innovators try to break into a market that is moving backwards, not forwards. Services such as Netflix compete directly with Bell’s other offerings, and Bell has now effectively shut it down by imposing low bandwidth caps and high overage fees.
As the Supreme Court has recently challenged Minister Tony Clement’s ability to interfere with the CRTC, we call on the CRTC to review and overturn this decision on the grounds that it will do great harm to Canadian consumers and to Canadian competition. Furthermore, we urge Mr. Clement to stop trying to patch holes in the system; it is time for the CRTC to be significantly overhauled or disbanded. In order to effectively police the telecommunications industry in Canada, the CRTC must be controlled by a majority of Canadian consumers rather than a cartel of telecom execs.
The CRTC has proven time and again who it really serves. Enough is enough.
Founded in 2009 and registered in 2010, the Pirate Party of Canada was established to protect the rights of consumers of information and culture against increasingly-draconian laws enacted in response to the demands of corporate interests. Specifically, the Party is committed to reform Canadian copyright laws, encourage innovation through patent reform, protect all Canadian citizens with strengthened privacy laws, and affirm their right to monitor their own government by promoting the ideals of open government.

What if an election were called and nobody came?
While that may be a somewhat facetious question, it is a reflection of the interest that most people have in the possibility. According to a poll conducted recently by the Liberals, only 15% of Canadians follow what’s going on at the federal political level on a regular basis. If you are reading this Communiqué you’re probably among that number.
At first glance, you might wonder why we’re talking about an election less than three years after the last one. The government has been able to carry on with its legislative program for the most part without too much difficulty, in spite of it being in a minority situation. There appear to be no compelling issues that would warrant a national debate about the future of the country.
In fact, the Conservatives and the Liberals are almost carbon copies of each other in terms of big government, deficit spending and social policies. The differences are only nuanced, and that may very well be part of a deliberate strategy on the part of the Conservatives to become the new “Natural Governing Party.”
While the talk of a possible spring election here in Canada has been pushed off the front pages for the past week on account of the events taking place in North Africa and the Middle East, I’d like to make a connection between the two.
In places like Tunisia and Egypt, there has been little political freedom for decades and any so-called democratic elections have been largely a sham. Precipitated by a singular act of one person in Tunisia, the people have risen up against an authoritarian regime and demanded changes.
This has now spread to other Arab countries such as Egypt and even Yemen (and perhaps more to follow). What I want to focus on is the grassroots nature of the uprisings and the perception that individuals working together can make a difference when united in a common cause.
What has that to do with Canada and its political situation today, you might ask. Surely you’re not advocating some kind of uprising? No, I’m not.
What I’m suggesting is that we need a grassroots movement of Christians from across this country to join the only distinctly Christian party which is prepared to stand up for truth and justice and life. A party which is not afraid to declare its opposition to anti-life policies related to abortion, euthanasia and the like.
The attention of the existing big-tent parties and the media will be gained when united support for CHP candidates across this country may deny them coveted seats. Then, they’ll pay attention to the Better Solutions CHP Canada offers to Canadians.
Won’t you commit to this movement and invite your fellow Christians and fellow Canadians to do the same?
We don’t fear an election, but we want it fought on the basis of substantive issues which truly matter to us and to the future of this great country of ours.
