Washington State University has a blog on the situation of Libyan students. The link was passed on to me by the Exec. Dir. of Comm. at WSU. I want to point out an event last friday (detailed on May 26) where the Christian, Jewish, Buddhist & Muslim communities gave food to the students. It was screened to make sure that it was all halal (okay for Muslims). This show of respect moved me to tears.

If anyone has any news on the situation of Libyan students in North America, I’d like to know. I’ve reached out to a number of students and universities. The information flow doesn’t seem to be so good, yet. I’m still trying to get a full understanding of the needs involved.
