Khaled Said’s court case has been postponed for the fifth time! Previously, the judge didn’t turn up & the case had to be postponed because the judge was missing! In the recent court hearing, some individuals working for the Egyptian police distributed leaflets accusing Khaled Said of being a convict & drug addict. Khaled wasn’t as they say, yet it doesn’t matter. NO ONE deserves to be tortured for any reason.

Some of our members have asked me not to cover Egypt’s government corruption on this page and not to talk about Egyptian parliament’s rigged elections and just focus on Human rights abuses in Egypt. What does everyone think? Should we ignore corruption and democracy? Do you think corruption is not related to human rights abuse committed by Egyptian government?

Members of the new Egyptian parliament have voted recently for the head of parliament position. There were two candidates: The ruling party candidate got 508 votes from 509 and the other candidate got his own vote only. The winner is the head of the Egyptian parliament for the 21st time! He won the vote for his position 21 times before. He is the longest serving head of parliament in the world. Egypt’s democracy!

A New Khaled Said in Alexandria again: Mostafa Atteya is a 39 years old father of three has been kicked to death by two Policemen in the street in Alexandria. Mostafa was kicked and dragged in the street for long distance by 2 Egyptian policemen from Mina Albasal police station and witnesses who saw the murder and torture have been arrested to force them to testify that he died of a heart attack and has not been killed. The policemen killed him while trying to arrest him because they thought he has defaulted on a loan to a bank while he has actually settled his finances with the bank a while back! Not that he deserved to be killed even if he didn’t!

Almost 100% of the new Egyptian parliament will be from the president’s ruling party, the national "democratic" party. They say it was fair & free election. This video shows the fraud & rigging that took place in almost ALL voting stations. The new parliament is not legitimate and those people do not represent us.

This parliament does not represent us. A collection of videos showing rigging and fraud in almost all voting stations.
The Egyptian government is still holding up to its story that the elections were fair with no fraud or rigging. Watch in this video how a bag full of pre-filled voting cards is emptied into a ballot box. How can this be fair?

United States promise to support fair elections in Egypt
www.youtube.com
In 28 June 2010, US promised to support fair elections in Egypt. This is the November elections, the one that has just been rigged.
On elections day, an independant candidate got zero votes in the whole constituency while he, his family and all his friends and relatives have voted for him let alone others. They rigged the candidate’s own vote for himself and made his own vote go to the ruling party candidate! …How can anyone get zero votes and even his own vote goes to his competitor? (Article in Arabic)

Egyptian candidate gets zero votes even his own vote was given to his competitor

Every candidate can vote himself and every candidate obviously votes for himself. This candidate had his own vote given to the ruling party candidate
In one of AlMenia voting stations, the president’s ruling party candidate got 900 votes while all opposition candidates got nothing. The only problem with this voting station is that it only has 893 registered voters including the dead & the unborn children who gets added to rigged voting stations. If there are only 893 voters in a voting station, how did this candidate got 900 votes from it? I think they should get their numbers rights next time they fake the elections to avoid such embarrassments. (Article in Arabic)

The Guardian’s reporter talking about the fraud he saw: "Egypt’s ‘election’ was pure stagecraft directed by a dictotor". The president’s ruling party scandal in the so called elections has reached the whole world. This is now an international scandal for the ruling party and yet, they still come out and say: it was 100%… free, fair and violence free election.
